A FREE debt advice service in Yeovil is celebrating 15 years of helping people and their families sort their finances.
St John’s Church launched the Debt Centre in partnership with UK debt and budgeting charity Christians Against Poverty (CAP), in 2011.
Since then, the group has advised hundreds of town families, including seeing 180 Yeovil households struggling in spiralling debts become debt free.
The organisation has also helped people to pay back or clear through insolvency £2.4 million pounds of debt.
To mark the occasion, an acoustic concert will be held at the church on Saturday, May 16, from 7pm.
