A Spelman College graduate, Janay Lesley, is going viral after sharing that rapper Lil Baby paid off more than $24,000 in student loan debt years after she first reached out to him for help. Lesley, an aspiring rapper and advocate living with sickle cell disease, is a first-generation college student.
She shared the emotional story on social media, explaining how she sent out a message as a freshman, and it eventually came true once she finished her degree.
“They say you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take,” Lesley explained in a viral video.
