An aspiring Queensland gas-to-power developer backed by General Motors, Macquarie Group and the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility has collapsed into administration, threatening the $200 million construction of a new gas power station in the state.
McGrath Nicol was appointed as voluntary administrator of QPM Energy, while receivers were appointed to the coal seam gas production arm of the business.
