The Katima Mulilo Town Council has resolved to consider writing off debts of qualifying pensioners and people with disabilities at the town.
In a public notice issued yesterday, the council says it would identify pensioners and people with disabilities who are eligible to benefit from the debt relief in accordance with government policy directives.
These people must visit the council offices with the necessary documentation and account information between 21 and 31 July to be considered.
