NAIROBI, Kenya, Jul 26 – The High Court has appointed an official liquidator to oversee the winding up of property developer Banda Homes Limited, marking the next phase in the company’s insolvency proceedings and paving the way for creditors to submit claims against the firm.
A notice published in the Kenya Gazette states that insolvency practitioner Waithaka Ngaruiya was appointed liquidator of Banda Homes Limited effective July 2, 2026, under Section 439(1) of the Insolvency Act, following proceedings in Insolvency Petition No. E44 of 2021.
