A company set up to run a popular Kent pub has collapsed owing almost £107,000 just a year after it was formed.
Insolvency papers for The Plough Swalecliffe Ltd list £100,000 owed to HM Revenue & Customs, although one of the men behind the business is disputing the figures.
But The Plough itself remains open and continues to trade as normal, with operator Bob Hopkins insisting the liquidation will have no impact on staff or the day-to-day running of the pub.
