A MILFORD Haven construction company has been wound up by the High Court following action brought by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC).
W2 Construction Limited, which has a registered office on Priory Street, was the subject of a winding-up petition presented by HMRC on June 23.
HMRC claimed to be a creditor of the company and asked the High Court to make a winding-up order against the business.
The petition was listed for a hearing at the High Court on August 5.
Following that hearing, the court ordered that the business was to be wound up under the Insolvency Act 1986.
The order places W2 Construction Limited into compulsory liquidation, and a liquidator from the Insolvency Service’s Official Receiver office has been appointed by the court.
