TIPPECANOE CO., Ind. (WLFI) – The Arconic Foundation is helping erase millions in medical debt for families in Tippecanoe County.
A $200,000 donation turned to millions in debt erased nationally. It’s thanks to an organization called Undue Medical Debt.
In Tippecanoe County, $6.1 million has been wiped clean for families struggling to pay those bills back. More than 4,200 residents in Tippecanoe County were recipients.
“In particular, across the United States, where Arconic facilities exist, they focused on those counties and those communities. They eliminated over $30 million in debt.
