The strategy outlines four key directions for managing public debt.
The Cabinet of Ministers approved the Medium-Term Public Debt Management Strategy for 2027–2029. The document defines the main priorities and measures of the state’s debt policy for the next three years.
As noted by the Ministry of Finance, the update of the Strategy was driven by the need to consider the new macroeconomic and security situation, as well as to determine approaches to financing the state budget needs for 2027–2029.
In turn, the document is also a continuation of the Medium-Term Strategy for 2026–2028 and develops the approaches laid down in it, taking into account current forecasts.
