An award-winning vineyard that “produced England’s first commercially available traditional method sparkling wine” has been slashed in price, more than a year after the company operating it went into liquidation.
Carr Taylor Vineyard, located at Yew Tree Farm near Hastings, has been relisted by property agents Hilco Global for £1.2 million.
The price marks a drop of £300,000 from when the vineyard was advertised for £1.5 million in August last year.
The “rare opportunity” was first listed after operator Carr Taylor Wines went into liquidation the same month.
