The Leading Edge retail brand portfolio and associated assets have been acquired by Independent Business Group Pty Ltd (IBG), providing a new commercial future for the brands following Leading Edge Group’s voluntary administration in July 2026.
The transaction was managed by Vincents’ Sydney Restructuring & Recovery team, led by partner and appointed voluntary administrator, Henry McKenna, alongside director, Alister Yee.
The sale includes business names, trademarks, domain names and digital assets associated with the group’s established retail operations across technology and electronics, appliances, books and entertainment, jewellery and the broader Leading Edge retail network.
