Arthur Tzaneros has stepped aside as chief executive of ACFS Port Logistics as the Australian logistics company navigates voluntary administration and mounting pressure from creditors.
Tzaneros announced his resignation after apologising for comments made in a private WhatsApp group concerning a serious sexual assault case currently before the courts.
“On Friday, I made comments on a private WhatsApp group about a serious and sensitive situation that’s currently in the news. I deeply regret what I said, and for showing a complete lack of sensitivity to that situation,” Arthur said in a statement to business partners.
