The gambling losses of Jean-Dominique Huynh total more than $20 million, far greater than previously disclosed, with the failed property developer’s activity encouraged by major betting platforms such as PointsBet gifting him free bets worth up to $100,000.
Huynh’s losses at major betting platforms, also including Sportsbet, Betr, and Entain, grew over a period that goes back at least five years, according to three sources who spoke on the condition of anonymity as they were not permitted to speak publicly.
