WATERTOWN, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – The Watertown School District has announced major help in student lunch debt, thanks to over $20,500 in donations from local community partners and an anonymous donor.
According to Steve Jurrens from Northeast Radio SD News, the contributions include a $10,500 gift from Sharp Automotive and a $10,000 anonymous donation.
The school district has emphasized that these donations remove potential barriers to student success. The district aims to ensure that students can remain focused on their education without meal insecurity.
