The Noah’s Ark Centre at Ovenden, Halifax, offers a range of services but has alerted councillors to concerns it has about funding.
Coun Christine Prashad raised the issue with senior councillors at a meeting of the full Calderdale Council and said the situation was concerning for a vital service.
“As you will all be aware, Andrew Sykes from Noah’s Ark sent an email recently with regard to the conclusion of some major funding streams later this year.
“The fact that Andrew wrote this email is quite telling in that he is definitely worried about being able to continue to help the residents of Calderdale with debt issues in the same uncompromising way going forward,” she said.
