Patna: The contract killing of gangster Chandan Mishra in Patna has taken a new turn following the interrogation of the prime accused, Tausif Raza, alias Badshah. Police say Badshah, who allegedly gunned down Mishra at Paras Hospital on July 17, took the contract after losing Rs 20 lakh in gambling.
According to police sources, Badshah was hired by Nishu, who has since been arrested in Kolkata. Investigations reveal that the group of shooters held a liquor-fuelled gathering at Nishu’s residence in Samanpura hours before the murder.
