Investment bank Deutsche Bank has taken control of five pubs owned by Jon Adgemis’ Public Hospitality, appointing receivers before a court hearing in which tax authorities are attempting to bankrupt the former KPMG dealmaker.
Deutsche, which led a major refinancing of Public Hospitality’s debt in 2024, has appointed McGrathNicol as receiver over the five venues, and KordaMentha has been brought in as voluntary administrator over the development group, which acts as the operating company for Adgemis’ pubs.
