Former NRL star turned social media sensation Luke Bateman has candidly opened up about his gambling addiction that almost cost him everything.
Mr Bateman, 30, played for the Canberra Raiders, then appeared on The Bachelor, and is now best known for going viral on TikTok as the wholesome “hot farmer” who loves to talk about books.
He has since announced a two-book deal with Atria Books Australia, a division of Simon and Schuster, but behind the scenes, Mr Bateman revealed he had struggled with a habit that blew up into a “debilitating” addiction.
