IDAHO, USA — New national policy revoking U.S. passports for parents behind on child support payments may affect some Idahoans.
On May 8, the U.S. Department of State announced parents who do not have custody of their children and owe more than $100,000 in child support payments will have their passports revoked.
For non-custodial parents owing over $75,000, passport revocations will begin June 1.
