C&BMO Ltd, which previously operated as Lowther Arms Ltd, entered creditors’ voluntary liquidation, according to documents filed with Companies House.
The company is listed in the statement of affairs as trading as The Lowther Arms, with the document signed by former tenant Carl McIntosh-Ormerod.
However, the pub itself is community-owned separately and continues to trade under new tenants Emma Gray and her partner Tony.
Emma said she and Tony were appointed by the community following an interview process after the previous tenancy came to an end and the lease became available.
