Tragedy struck the Saburi 2 community in Abuja on Wednesday following the death of Stephen Chidubem, a young man who reportedly took his own life at his residence on Abba Street, located behind the Anglican Church in the area.
Sources confirmed that Chidubem was found hanging from a ceiling fan with a rope, in what emergency officials and investigators believe to be a case of suicide.
Responders who arrived at the scene quickly evacuated his body to the Kubwa General Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead by a medical doctor.
His remains have since been deposited at the hospital’s mortuary pending an autopsy.
