A 42-year-old man from Gandhinagar has been arrested for allegedly murdering his wife and five-year-old son. The accused, Haresh Vaghela, reportedly committed the crime after accumulating a ₹4 lakh debt due to online gaming.
According to The Times of India, the incident was discovered when an eight-year-old neighbor visited Vaghela’s residence in the Sargasan area and found the door open. Upon entering, the child saw the victims and immediately alerted others. Infocity police took Vaghela into custody on Sunday. He was produced in court on Monday and remanded to one day in police custody, said Inspector V R Kher.
