Chinese actor Huang Xiaoming has dismissed claims that he lost 1 billion yuan (US$140 million) gambling overseas and was forced to sell property to cover the debt.
Huang talked about rumors that he lost billions of yuan gambling in Macau during an episode of a reality show on Feb. 21, according to Cinema Online.
He said the claims were fabricated by AI and contained exaggerated, illogical details. He said that although the story was implausible, some people still believed it, adding that he was truly heartbroken at the time.
