A total of 484 people entered the Breathing Space scheme last year.
The scheme offers legal protections and a freeze on interest, charges, and creditor action for up to 60 days while individuals seek debt advice and develop a repayment plan.
Figures reflect the growing strain on households amid rising living costs and economic uncertainty.
