A targeted communication campaign will contact households identified as having council tax arrears and receiving Scottish Child Payment.
The campaign follows a one-off data-sharing exercise involving the Scottish Government, Social Security Scotland and all Scottish local authorities.
Details of the scheme were shared with councillors at a meeting of the authority’s policy and resources committee.
