BELEM, BRAZIL — On November 20, during COP30, the Society of Jesus delivered a powerful statement to Ambassador André Corrêa do Lago, President of the conference, raising three urgent demands on climate finance. The move, carried out by Anderson Pedro, S.J., Rector of PUC-Rio, marks a renewed push from the Jesuits for structural change in the global response to climate change.
