Nearly 20 jobs are at risk as a landfill and waste business in Falkirk enters administration.
Avondale Environmental Ltd operates a waste management facility and landfill at Avondale Quarry in Polmont.
The company has 19 employees and provides “critical” waste management services to customers across Scotland, including the processing of hazardous waste.
Earlier this month, the waste company fell into insolvency due to rising costs and increasing cash pressures.
Administrators said they are supporting employees and are working with key stakeholders to assess options over the coming days, including a potential sale of the business.
