Chandigarh: Congress leader and chairman of the All India Kisan Congress, Sukhpal Singh Khaira, has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to announce a special relief package, including a farm debt waiver, for the Punjab farmers.In a letter to PM Modi ahead of his proposed visit to the state, Khaira said the visit presented an opportunity to provide long-awaited relief to lakhs of farming families facing severe financial distress.
