A 10-something South Korean female was kidnapped by local loan sharks in Vietnam before being rescued.
On August 15, a Korean female in her teens, identified as A, was kidnapped by local loan sharks in Hanoi, Vietnam, due to her father’s gambling debts.
Father B, an employee stationed at a local branch of a South Korean company in Vietnam, reportedly failed to pay off debts incurred from gambling locally, leading the loan sharks to effectively take his daughter A hostage.
However, feeling threatened for his own safety, father B fled the country alone the very next day, August 16, leaving his daughter behind locally.
