KUWAIT: Total donations to the ministry of justice’s campaign to settle debts of indebted citizens reached KD 13.249 million (approximately $43 million) as of 5:00 pm on the second day of the campaign. The ministry launched the donation drive at 10:00 am on Monday to support financially distressed citizens during the holy month of Ramadan. The campaign was scheduled to continue until the end of Tuesday but was extended until midnight Wednesday to allow broader participation amid strong public response.
