RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Area Schools is slated to send around $175,000 of school lunch debt to a collections agency on Friday. To help alleviate the lunch debt problem Cohort Craft Brewery will be holding a fundraiser, donating 25 percent of all net sales this Friday, Jan. 30, at their Rapid City location on 5th Street. The fundraiser applies to all net sales, including beers on tap, six-packs, pretzels, sodas, and more.
Several staff members at Cohort have children in the RCAS system, making the issue personal for the business.
