Missouri Attorney General Catherine Hanaway has announced a settlement addressing hazardous and unlawful conditions at the Mark Twain Hotel in downtown St. Louis, including safety problems, criminal activity, and conditions affecting residents.
The agreement with property owner Anchor Point Hotel LLC resolves claims brought by the state involving hazardous living conditions, chronic safety failures, and persistent criminal activity at the hotel. The settlement does not include an admission of liability by any party.
