PHNOM PENH – The National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) has urged banking and financial institutions to consider financial relief for frontline soldiers and civilians affected by the five days of Cambodia-Thai military clashes.
The measure followed Prime Minister Hun Manet’s July 29 call to the Association of Banks in Cambodia to help ease the financial burdens of armed forces, families of fallen and injured soldiers, disabled soldiers, and displaced people.
