Offset was being sued by a Detroit casino for thousands of dollars when he was shot outside a different casino in Florida earlier this week, according to a report.
In court documents obtained by TMZ, The MotorCity Casino Hotel alleged the former Migos rapper obtained a credit line of $100K with the casino in March 2024 so he could continue gambling throughout the night. It further claimed the casino reached out to Offset in a bid to settle his debt, but it was unable to get in touch with him.
At that point, it attempted to withdraw the agreed-upon amount directly from his account — but the transaction failed due to insufficient funds, according to the complaint.
