Want to do a good deed today without moving from your seat? It might be as simple as putting the 2002 hit “Hot In Herre” by Nelly on repeat for a couple hours.
When news of the rapper’s financial woes from 2013 surfaced this week from TMZ, fans quickly rallied together and encouraged others to stream his music enough times for Nelly to receive a sizable paycheck to help pay off all debt.
It started with a clever headline from SPIN, who declared that it would take 287,176,547 streams for Nelly to pay off $2.4 million dollars in federal and state taxes.
