These are the emotional words of Powys farmer Gabrielle Prince, who says she is facing a race against time to save her family’s 69-acre farm from being lost forever, over a long-running mortgage dispute with the banking giant.
Gabrielle, 32, a mother of three and full-time carer for her seriously ill mother, Vivienne, says she must find £182,000 by January 31 next year to save Fron Grian, the farm she describes as her father’s legacy.
Gabrille described farming as far more than a job – “It’s in my bones,” she said.
