Rob Lowe may best be known for roles in the political series “The West Wing” and more recently, “9-1-1 Lone Star.” But his next job may be his most serious of them all.
The actor will work with Accredited Debt Relief, debt settlement company that negotiates with creditors to reduce the amount they owe for credit card and medical bills as well as, personal loans. A campaign set to launch in August aims to challenge the stigma that arises when consumers face financial hardships. In one TV spot, Lowe shares how a family grapples with the possibility that their son may not be able to play on the baseball team because they can no longer afford the program’s costs.
