22 October 2025 – UN Secretary-General António Guterres, Minister of Economy, Trade and Business of Spain Carlos Cuerpo, the Secretary-General of UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD), Rebeca Grynspan and the Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs, Li Junhua, today announced the creation of the Sevilla Forum on Debt, during the 16th United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD16), taking place in Geneva from 20 to 24 October 2025.
