A 16-year-old boy who rode a stolen motorcycle from one unmanned store to another, breaking into kiosks and stealing cash to pay off debts from online gambling, has been caught by police in South Korea.
The Ilsan West Police Station in Gyeonggi Province said on the 17th that it was investigating the boy, identified only as A, on charges of aggravated theft, attempted aggravated theft and driving without a license under the Road Traffic Act.
According to police, A is accused of breaking into seven unmanned stores in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, over three days early last month, smashing kiosks with tools and stealing cash. In all, 10 offenses were confirmed, and the boy stole about 870,000 won.
