Credit cards can be incredibly useful.
They earn you Airmiles. They can buy you a little time when it comes to funding new kitchens and tickets. They can save your life abroad.
So much of getting better is admitting that you can’t do everything alone
But they can also lumber you with a whole load of unmanageable debt.
Take illustrator and educator, Kate Bingaman-Burt, for example.
In 2004, she found herself $24,000 (£18,460) in credit card debt and to try. And as a way of making herself more aware of her purchases, she decided to illustrate her credit card statements.
