INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Verizon, Team Penske, and the Indianapolis Colts are committing $6 million to alleviate Hoosier veteran medical debt.
This is part of a $22 million debt relief program across the Great Lakes over two years, with Verizon having already relieved over $4 million in debt for more than 4,800 veterans in 2024.
“They gave us this ability. I think giving back to them, especially during this time of need – when they didn’t ask for health issues, they just have them – this is the right thing to do,” Verizon’s Great Lakes Market President Andy Brady said.
The $6 million commitment includes a $2 million collaboration with Team Penske, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and the Indy 500….
