Esperance residents struggling to pay their water bills and struggling with a specific medical condition will be able to apply for a range of programs announced on Wednesday, May 2 at the 2018 Council of Social Service Conference.
Three new programs will be available to Water Corporation customers at the start of July.
The programs are Medical Assist, Start Over and Time Assist.
Medical Assist will benefit households with a family member diagnosed with a kidney disease and undertaking home dialysis, which results in higher water usage.
These customers can apply for up to 180,000 litres of water for free per year.
