The people behind plans for a £60 million “eco-therapy wellness park” say they are still hopeful for a project despite putting the company into voluntary administration.

Barony NP (UK) Ltd, a partnership between social enterprise company National Pride UK (NPUK) and investment company ESE Capital, promised hundred of jobs at the centre.

But it went into administration in December 2024.

The Department of Homeland Security is preparing to offer unaccompanied migrant teenagers in the United States the option to voluntarily leave the country and receive a $2,500 payment, according to three sources familiar with the plans and an administration memo obtained by CNN.

The Trump administration has already been offering financial incentives — including a $1,000 exit bonus — to undocumented adult immigrants in the US to depart the country. Administration officials have argued that self-deportation incentives are more cost effective, given the high price tag of immigrant detention and deportation.

NEW DELHI: The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) has stayed insolvency proceedings against Captain GR Gopinath‘s Deccan Charters till April 26, 2024, its next date of hearing. Earlier, the Bengaluru bench of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) had directed initiation of Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP), admitting a plea of financial creditor Krone Finstock claiming a default of around Rs 10 crore.

The Chennai bench of NCLAT on a petition filed by Sanjay Saihgal, a director of the suspended board of Deccan Charters, on Wednesday directed Krone Finstock to file a reply within four days.

The Federal Government will provide ailing disability employment services provider Bedford with an extra $4.4 million with Disability and the NDIS Minister Mark Butler saying the company’s financial position was so bad that “they can’t even operate from week to week”.

Announced today, the extra funding builds on $15 million in state government money given to Bedford in July, which rescued the not-for-profit from falling into voluntary administration.

Bedford is the second-largest employer for people with disability in the country and supports some 1400 people.
