A UK pizza restaurant has been sold, saving 50 jobs that had been put at risk as the company struggled to adapt to changes in the hospitality industry. Civerinos, which has seven sites across Scotland, recently announced it was closing its Edinburgh site, leaving dozens of staff fearing unemployment.
The company said all staff from its Edinburgh pizza pub site had been moved to other parts of the business and no one was made redundant. A spokesman for Civerinos told The Herald the background and added: “In 2019 we opened our pizza pub.
